Coping/Metals

Specifications

We use schedule 40 2 3/8” Galvanized steel pipes for our ramp coping!

For our quarter pipes/kickers we use Galvanized steel 16 gauge sheet metal.

Wood specs

All our mini ramp riding surfaces are built out of 3 different layers of ply for guaranteed longevity and stability.

Two layers of 3/8” ply and one 1/4” layer of either Baltic Birch or Skatelite.

For our standard riding surface we use 1/4” Baltic Birch ply. This type of wood is proven to be the best in the market for skate use and abuse since its built out of 5 solid veneers and is harder than most common kinds of plywood.

For the sides and top decks of our ramps we use 3/4” sanded Pine that’s built out of 7 solid veneers made with exterior glue.

Screws/Hardware

We fasten our coping using 5/16” J-Bolts! We attach the bolts behind the coping so you wont have to grind through any holes!

This Method makes it almost impossible for the coping to become lose over time with skating abuse.

We use 2 1/2” coated exterior deck screws for our framing.

For our ramp layers we use 1 5/8” coated exterior deck screws
